Cold Air Intake
So, I bought this used AEM Cold Air Intake (CAI) from another guy, and it came to me essentially like this. You can see the pipe without the filter is pretty much a standard short ram-ish pipe, and the other is the one that allows the lower placement of the filter. Booyah, baby!!

First thing you have to do is take off the driver-side wheel. Then, you'll see a plastic covering on the inside of the wheel well that is connected to the car by 3 7mm screws and a bunch of rivets. Remove the screws and rivets as much as you can and then push the plastic piece down so you can see the other plastic piece behind it. This piece, which is shown in the picture, needs to have a triangular hole cut in it so the second pipe can be fed down into the wheel well from the top of the engine compartment. You can see the what the hole needs to look like in this picture here. After the hole is cut and the first pipe is attached to the throttle body, as in the original Intake page, feed the second pipe down to the wheel well through the hole you just cut in the liner. NOTE: You MUST take the filter off the pipe before feeding it down. It will not even come CLOSE to fitting, you fucking idiot! Look at the size of the hole, and then look at the size of the filter!! You're gonna have to shove it down a little bit at times. Don't stress, but try not to break shit, you clumsy bastard. Now, connect the two pipes in front of the battery using the clamps.

Next, you need to screw the bracket that holds the intake in place into the left stock airbox bolt hole. You can see in the picture where it's at. Pretty self explanitory. After it's screwed in, fit the intake piece in between the washer and the rubber stopper and tighten everything down. No more rubbing.

Finally, put back all the pieces of plastic shielding you took off the wheel well and put the tire back on. Also, make sure the IAT is stuck in the hole made for it in the CAI. You might need to move the radiator hose or something to protect it. I dunno. Then, stand back and observe the AEM CAI in all it's pipely glory. Make sure you reset the PCM by unplugging the negative battery terminal for 30 minutes before trying this bitch out. Then, feel free to rock out hardcore all day AND all night...cuz you know how we do! You're goddamn right, foo!
